Allow proxying the versions metadata

Many extension don't care about actually storing version metadata in the page (usually all the extension that don't fill a release note).

It would reduce a lot the size of those pages to just proxy those metadata like we proxy the extension file. It would not change anything for the users of the UI or the REST API.
