Description
Some days ago I turned on the global notification settings with mails in Global Administration -> Other -> Notifications for “Pages”.
(I turned it on because my profile does save my notification settings correctly, as i can see in the objects, but on the profile page it is not displayed correctly.)
I turned the global setting for sending mails for page edits and so on to “off” again.
Since then everybody gets Notification-Mails and I can’t turn it off globally.

I don't know why they are vanished, but we have a lots of users\profiles without XWiki.Notifications.Code.NotificationPreferenceClass-objects. They are receiving the daily notification updates at midnight from org.xwiki.notifications.notifiers.internal.email.NotificationEmailJob (i think).
In the pictures (left to right):
- The (local) profile of our ServiceDesk from our IT-Service.
- The mail from the ServiceDesk which says: please remove servicedesk@ ... or remove the notifications for the wiki
- I checked the global settings (third picture) and the mails are turned off.
- Some users have alert-settings but not mail-settings (should be 16)
