When deleting a document belonging to an extension, selecting a document from tree causes the page to open in a new tab

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Go to an extension page (e.g. Help)
2. Click 'More Actions' > 'Delete'
3. Click 'Delete'
4. When the warning is displayed, on the tree, tick a checkbox to select a document

EXPECTED RESULTS

The respective document from the tree is selected.

ACTUAL RESULTS

The page opens in a new tab. However, in the original tab, the page is selected.

The issue was reproduced by surli on XWiki 14.6 and I've also reproduced it on older versions of XWiki down to 12.10.7, but I couldn't reproduce it on XWiki 12.10.6.
