Impossible to see in-content an annotation if the annotation is on a link

You can create an annotation on a link. But later if you want to see the annotation by clicking on the yellow icon, it opens the link and send you to another page (or another section of the page if it's an anchor link), so in the end you can't see the annotation displayed next to the text (link in that case) that was annotated.

Maybe the annotation could be displayed just by hovering the icon rather than clicking on it?
