Changing image styles multiple times in the same session does not work

Reproduction steps:

• create a image styles A
• Create a page, set the style of the image to A
• Save
• Re-edit, set the style of the image to '---' and update
• re-edit the image an the image style to A

Expected

The image is set back to A

Actual

The image style is not updated
