Reset password doesn't work properly with rule to force a symbol

There's is apparently an issue with the regular expression to force a symbol in a password.
Reproduction steps:

• Configure the wiki to send emails
• In administration > Registration check "Require at least one symbol character in the password "
• Create a user with an email address
• Go to login page and click "reset password"
• Indicate the username and follow the link from the received mail
• Type a password containing an isolated symbol, e.g. bar@bar
• Click reset password

Expected result:

• the password is properly set as it contains a symbol

Obtained result:

• the password is not set and an error message appears saying "The provided password is not compliant with the password security rules."

Note that it apparently doesn't impact changing the password from the user profile.
