Impossible to use the image dialog on pasted image with an url

Reproduction steps

1. copy the content of an external html page containing at least one image
2. paste the content on a wiki page
3. edit an image
4. click on update

Expected

The image is updated

Actual

Nothing happens.

PS: 12.10.11 is the oldest version I've tested, but it's likely to there since the beginning
