XWiki keeps creating unused threads when the "events" Solr core cannot be reached

When you reach this state, you are in big troubles anyway (it means the events core is unusable for some reason, generally rights on data corruption), but it's still good to avoid making things even worst and not create a problem that may make debugging what is the problem more complex.
