    Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Edit the Sandbox home page in Standalone WYSIWYG edit mode
      2. Scroll to the end of the content
      3. Insert any macro like the HTML macro

      Expected result:

The inserted macro is selected and visible (in view port).

      Actual result:

The edited content is scrolled to the top. You have to scroll back to the end of the content to see the inserted macro.

Note that the same happens if you edit a TextArea property using the WYSIWYG editor (because the same standalone WYSIWYG editor is used). E.g. edit an entry from the Movies AppWithinMinutes application.

I suspect that this is related to XWIKI-22965 as this touched the code for restoring selections and the affects versions match. I've reproduced this issue on 17.3.0, 17.2.0 and 16.10.6 but not on 16.10.5, 17.1.0.
