Description
Steps to reproduce
- Go to Sandbox.WebHome
- Go to a line that has multiple words with punctuation between them (like commas or periods)
- Select a word that has punctuation right next to it (before or after)
- Press CTRL+M, add some annotation text
- Click 'Add annotation'
- Select another word on the same line that has punctuation next to it
- Press CTRL+M, add some annotation text as well
- Click 'Add annotation'
Expected results
All annotation are added.
Actual results
The success message that the annotation was added is displayed for the second word, but the word does not appear to be annotated - is not highlighted even after page refresh and enabling Annotations again, and if the word is clicked from the Comment section, the anchor does not work.
From what I could see, it's related to the punctuation located right next to the annotated word.
Reproduced as well on XWiki 18.3.0, but could not be reproduced on XWiki 17.10.8.
