The syntax for escaping wiki text ( {{{ ) triggers weird behavior

I tried inputting the following text in a page running under the XWiki 2.0 syntax :

{{{ The [[wiki content]] of this **sentence** will not be __rendered__ }}}

texte

The {{{ [[wiki content]] of this **sentence** will not be __rendered__ }}}

The results are as displayed in the attached image file. 2 issues :

• either the escaped text is displayed in a box and does not allow a pragraph to be created afterwards
• or the escaped text is displayed using a monospace font
