Comments are trimmed out at the beginning of the document in IE

The comments at the beginning of the HTML document are trimmed out in the WYSIWYG in IE, therefore no object that uses comment to delimit its HTML rendered block (links, images) can be placed at the beginning of the document because it would break it.
