Selecting image and deleting it does not work

When trying to select an image (by clicking it) and deleting it, upon save and view, it reappears.

It is because the selection obtained by clicking the image only contains the img element, and the delete only deletes this element, leaving the markup comments all around (<!-startimage> and <!stopimage->) These comments are the ones actually parsed by the parser and generate the wikisyntax image upon save.
