Typing after standalone links in internet explorer breaks the document

in wiki syntax, then switch to wysiwyg, and edit the end of the link put some more text and then hit space.
Upon saving the document there will be an error signaled, because IE will generate an anchor inside another anchor (because of its standalone links detection mechanism in edit mode).

When trying to backspace the end of the link, the whole link will be removed, because of the same mechanism.
