Quote and background color incompatible in IE 6&7

    Description

      Steps to follow to reproduce:

      • create a new page and go to edit mode
      • go to page source and type:
        Test
        >test
        >test
      • go to WYGIWYS
      • select "test test" in quote and color its background yellow
      • click preview

      Result: Only the first "test" will be yellow and in quotes. The second "test" will be ">test" with no color and no quote (see attached image for visual representation).
