      To reproduce:

      page1:

      {{velocity}}
$xwiki.getDocument("page2").getRenderedContent()
{{/velocity}}

      page2:

      {{velocity}}
$doc
{{/velocity}}

      Result: it prints page1 when executed from page1 (instead of page2).
