CSRF failure in saving the Annotation settings in Administration is still reported as a success

When saving the annotation settings and a CSRF validation error occurs, it is only logged in the console while the JS notification reports the action as a success (displaying the green "Saved" notification).

Obviously, the changes are not saved.
