Error when changing the number type of a field from an application

Steps to reproduce:

• Login as an admin
• Click on "More applications" and then on "Create your own!" in the "Applications" panel
• Click "Create Application"
• Type a name for your application and click "Next Step"
• Drag and drop a number-type field from the palette to the right
• Click "Next Step"
• Click "Finish"
• Click "Edit Application"
• Hover over the number-type field and click on the "key" icon in the top right corner
• Change the number type from "long" to whichever one you want
• Click on the green checkmark button
• Click "Next Step"

You will get a "Failed to execute the [velocity] macro" error. I've attached it to this issue ("error.txt").

Tested on Firefox 17.
