Activity Stream appears broken on IE 11

Preconditions: Have some entries in the Activity Stream

Steps to reproduce:

1. Log in as Admin or simple user on IE 11
2. Access the Dashboard where the Activity Stream is present
3. Observe the UI
4. Refresh the page
5. Observe the UI
6. Access another page
7. Access the Dashboard again

Expected results: The AS is showing properly.

Actual results: The AS appears broken:

• the UI is not showing properly
• the check icon/button "notification-event-read-button" doesn't appear
• the "..." icon/button "toggle-notification-event-details" isn't working

After Refresh the AS appears as expected but once the user accesses another page and then accesses again the Dashboard the AS appears broken again.

NOTE: On XWiki 11.10.4 the AS appears fine on IE11
On Chrome/FF the AS works fine on all versions
