Notifications events marked as read are not filtered anymore

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Login as Admin
2. Create an user (e.g. U1)
3. Login as U1
4. Go to Notifications Settings
5. In the Applications section set Pages Notifications to ON (both for "Notification menu" and for "E-mail")
6. In Filters section set "Read Event Filter" for both Alert and Email to ON
7. Login as Admin
8. Create/ update/ comment/ delete a page
9. Login as U1
10. On Notifications list, mark two notification events as read (e.g. 'edit' and 'comment' events)
11. Refresh the page and observe the notifications list
12. Login as Admin
13. Trigger the "Notifications daily email" job from Scheduler.WebHome
14. Check user's U1 received emails

EXPECTED RESULTS

On Step 11, after the page was refreshed, the notification events previously marked as read are not displayed anymore in the list.

On the user's received email, the same notification events (marked as read) are not present.

ACTUAL RESULTS

The events marked as read are still displayed in both notifications list and email.

The issue could not be reproduced on XWiki 12.5.1.
