Description
I don't quite know when this started, but in new versions of XWiki when you enter a text into the (quick) search box, it searches for that exact text instead of for just its beginning. Not sure why this was introduced.
I think that most users will expect that they don't need to put asterisk ('*') after their just typed-in term in order to get suggestions for texts starting with it.
I'm not reporting this as a bug, because maybe there can be different points of view on this. Yet for me, the current behavior is quite surprising...
