    Description

      HTML import exists de facto as an intermediate step for Office imports

      After the encoding detection gets working (XWIKI-6377) it would be nice to open that feature for all users.

      HTML format is quite okay for simple documents/notes interchange, like RTF 10 years ago.

      Ability to re-use HTML directly, without transforming it to RTF/DOC just to import it, would be a nice feature, already implemented in back-end.
