Let the user know when a newer extension version is available

    Description

      Right now the user has to explicitly go to the administration and then click on installed extension to know if there's a newer version of installed extensions.

      It would be nice to perform a regular check on his behalf and define a message zone in the UI where we could display the information when a new version is detected.
