      Description

This is a minor issue, but it would be great if we displayed in "Refine your search" > "Language" the pretty language names (English, French etc.) instead of en, fr etc.
E.g. Brazilian Portuguese would be easier to read and understand than pt_BR.

A remark regarding what was implemented:

          • What 'No language' means? Because if I look at Administration - Localization I see that the 'Default Language' is set to 'en' so I'm assuming that all the pages that are created are in the default language (and that is english). So what 'no language' means? is it 'default language'? is it 'no language'? do we have pages that are in 'no language'? It's a bit confusing ....

Ecaterina Moraru (Valica) First of all, the "No language" has been introduced by XWIKI-9231 in XWiki 5.1 so it's not new. Then you should read the "What default language for our documents in releases XAR". Sergiu has explained why some documents cannot have a language set. Finally, "No language" means no language but feel free to propose a better label. It's a translated text so we can change it easily in Main.SolrTranslations.

Yes but not all the pages in your wiki have been created by you, there is also extensions you installed. The configured default language is what is set as the language of the default version of the document when it's created, it's not because you change the default language configuration that suddenly all existing documents languages change.

Ecaterina Moraru (Valica) Maybe replacing "No language" with "No language set"? Using something like "Technical Document" or "Script Document" is not right because there are documents with no language set that are not really technical or with code, they are UI documents (Main.Search, Main.AllDocs, Dashboard.WebHome etc.).

Replacing 'No language' with 'No language set' is the same thing. For me if I have a default language set, I assume all those pages are in that particular language. I would force the default language, instead of not having a language set at all. When we are in a 'single-language' mode we don't even have a way to verify in what language a page is or if it has multiple languages, so the 'languages' problems is much bigger than this issue. Thank you for the mail discussion link you gave me and s ok to see that this was discussed and agree on, meaning any change will need a vote and a proposal. So thanks for clearing things out and I'll wait for the users to see if they have questions about the label.
