Transitively-installed extension with upgrade available doesn't show up in the Extension Updater page

the explanation is, I think, this: the Extension Updater checks only "top level" extension, i.e. extension that you installed explicitly, NOT extension that were installed as dependencies. In case of Blog, 5.1 was installed as dependency, so it isn't a top level extension, and then when we upgraded to 5.2, it wasn't upgraded because it isn't a dep on Enterprise UI Common. The only solution in this case is to use advanced search to search and install 5.2 version of Blog
