Description
For an user that has at least some experience with the platform, most panels can become obsolete if they have the breadcrumb.
Having this in mind, it would be ideal if the user could minimize panels with only a click of a button, letting the main content centered on the page.
This feature would be, ideally, a skin focused one, either part of a new skin ( a more minimalist and modern one, like this one) or of any other skin present. If there is not enough time to modify the skin, the feature could be implemented as part of a updated theme.
While the panels should be able to be hidden through the Panels section in the Look & Feel section, I believe a "minimize" button on every panel would be in fact the better call. This would make the panels customization much faster and adaptable to the users' needs.
Each button should control the panel they are placed on. On click, the visibility of the panel should be changed in the opposite of the current visibility.
Animations (sliding right or left smoothly) could be added to enrich the experience of the user, but they are not essential.
Ideally, the feature would be presented in the demo/ intro tutorial to make every user aware of the buttons.
