Description
Case 1 – “Filter Styles” enabled
Steps to reproduce:
- Import a document with a smaller table/picture aligned on center/right of the page (or use the attached document)
- Observe the location of the table/picture imported on the page
Expected results:
The table/picture is imported in the same location and in the same size as the original document.
Actual results:
- The image/table is stretched across the entire page.
- The original dimensions and alignment are ignored.
Case 2 – “Filter Styles” disabled
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a page from Office
- Import a document with a smaller table/picture aligned on center/right of the page (or use the attached document)
- Uncheck "Filter Styles"
- Observe the location of the table/picture imported on the page
- Edit the page
Expected results:
Step 2: In view mode the table/picture is imported in the same location and in the same size as the original document.
Step 3: In edit mode the table/picture is imported in the same location and in the same size as the original document.
Actual results:
View mode
- The image/table is stretched across the entire page right after import.
- The original dimensions and alignment are not preserved.
Edit mode
- The original dimensions are preserved.
- However, the original alignment/position is ignored.
Expected result
Images/tables should preserve both their original dimensions and alignment from the source document in both View and Edit modes.
Tested and reproduced also in XWiki 16.10.5 on Cloud.
