Description
It would also be useful to see a link to the redirecting page on the resulting page, so the redirecting page can be edited without manipulating the URL.
For example:
when a 301 from the local site (in this case from Sandbox.Testpage) is detected, the following is shown:
(<a href="/bin/edit/Sandbox/Testpage?editor=wiki">redirected</A> here from "<A href="/bin/edit/Sandbox/Testpage?editor=wiki">Testpage</A>")</blockquote>
Linking to the editor for this redirecting page.
For reference, also see this Wikipedia page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School_of_the_Arts_%28disambiguation%29
"(Redirected from School of the Arts (disambiguation))"
With MediaWiki, the redirect page is visible remains as URL while the resulting page is rendered, but that probably isn't the best solution. We have the Include macro for that.
