Description
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Log in as Admin
- Click on Menu
- Click 'Add a new Entry'
- Add an entry name (eg. Menu1)
- Select Menu Display Location - "Inside a Left Panel" or "Inside a Right Panel"
- Select Menu Visibility Scope - Global
- Click 'Save & View'
- Go to Administer Wiki > Look & Feel > Panels
- Add the name of the new menu in the left/right Panel (eg. Menu.Menu1.WebHome)
- Click 'Save'
- Refresh the page
- Create a new subwiki
- On subwiki, go to Administer Wiki > Look & Feel > Panels
- Add the name of the previously created menu in the left/right Panel (eg. xwiki:Menu.Menu1.WebHome)
- Click 'Save'
- Refresh the page
- Log in as a global user
EXPECTED RESULTS
Due to the fact that the Menu visibility scope is Global, the new menu is displayed on the left/right panels on Main Wiki and subwikis, for all users.
ACTUAL RESULTS:
The menu is not displayed on the subwikis, it's only displayed on the Main Wiki.
The last version on which it was displaying also on subwikis was 10.4.
