Notifications macro page/space restriction doesn't work properly anymore

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Create a page (e.g. <server>/xwiki/bin/view/Test1/)
2. Edit the page in Wiki/Source and insert the following:

   {{notifications spaces="xwiki:Test1" useUserPreferences="false" displayOwnEvents="true" /}}

1. Save the page

EXPECTED RESULTS

The notifications macro displays an event: Test1 page creation.

ACTUAL RESULTS

No events are displayed. Even if the page is edited by other users, still no events are displayed.

The same issue reproduces if the page is restricted (instead of space):

{{notifications displayOwnEvents="true" pages="Test1.WebHome"/}}

The issue couldn't be reproduced in XWiki 13.10.2.
